  1. The problem is not transsexuality but the lack of rights for the employees. Employers have all the power in States, employees none. In Europe labour union is strong, employees are protected in most European countries. In Finland you can fire a transsexual but it means that you end up in the court.
  2. Well, I do not think that transsexuals are any different from any other people. If you want to make living study, get a profession, get a job. I find it a little bit offending that all the advice men can think of is some sort of sex or trans related work. That is labeling. Carla, which country are you from? Why and how do you fully understand that? Sex work is about having sex. Most of people like having sex. Even some escorts, can you imagine?
  3. Well, first of all you have to understand what transsexuality is about. It is a mistake in making. No one was meant to be born as a transsexual. In Finland the population is 5,2 million. The number of males operated to females is probably 200 - ever. Now start counting what are your chances to find a transsexual in Finland today, tomorrow, next year or next decade. To make it even more complicated. Transsexuality is a life-long process but only a tiny part of fascinates men. That is the period when she is under the transformation, becaming physically female but not yet operated. This period in Finland takes normally from two to four years. And moreover. In Finland half of the transsexuals don't even fancy men. They are lesbian. So what are your chances in Finland? I am surprised that you have not come to think of this. Your friend - ..... - apparently didn't tell you much about transsexuality. May I ask you, if you're still here, why you want to have a transsexual friend?
  4. I read this comment a while ago but didn't then have exact words to describe my thoughts. But yesterday the words found their way to me. What happened is that I was having a breakfast outdoors. It is quite an unsusual time of the year to sit in a park as the summer is gone and what is left is somewhat gloomy autumn. But still yesterday the weather was decent, not raining. Sipping tea in a park I realized how happy I am. I was watching people rushing to work or school but me, I was sipping tea and having a packed sandwich in quiet. This is true luxury, I though. When I say luxury I mean that I have something that other people in my well-off country don't have. I have time. Nowadays everyone has money (including me) but what people don't have is time. When I hear media talking about downshifting, I smile quietly and knod. I know what is downshifting. To me choosing a career as an escort has been a platform to better life ( I started my career in my late 20's. I have an University degree, I could have chosen another path.). The basement of my balance is lust. I could not do this work without enjoying sex with casual partners. As I enjoy it and as my clients enjoy my company I see zero reason to feel guilty of what I am doing. I do good and I am happy about it. So, I don't see any reason to move forward, for the time being. Having a normal job sounds too boring and too restricting to me. Normal doesn't suit me at all!
  5. The main problem is this: Every transgendered has walked a long path to accept herself/himself while most of their admirers are in the beginning of the path (and probably never will make it). In this unbalanced situation there is no chance for a true relation. The base has to be built on firm land. There are also other problems. What the admirers are looking for is "a girl with a dick" (as they put it). If you are a transsexual a state where you are "a girl with dick" is temporary. Why bother to fall in love when you know everything is going to be over after an operation? Moreover, why to fall in love with a guy who is mainly interested in the thing you want to get rid of? Many t-girls practise prostitution. It is very difficult to have both professional sex life and a serious love relation. You usually have to choose between these two. An untold truth is that many t-girls are polygamous. They are used to getting a lot of attention from men, herds of men! Settling down with one man only may be too challenging or even uninteresting. Not all the t-girls can afford dreaming of a relationship. You have to be passable, not almost but fully. Then again, not all the transgendered have problems with getting into a relation. It seems that t-guys and lesbian t-girls have no or less problems getting into a relation (with a woman)? Why is it so? P.S. Sorry, I may have treated this issue from a reverse angle.
  6. So, what's the news? Why age should matter? People reach easily 85-90 years in the Western world nowadays. Why should people stop living when they still one fourth of the life ahead? I know that in Finland one TS was operated at the age of 60 or something. No big deal. One must understand that older people carry the burden of the more conservative years; that must have had an influence on them and probably postponed their decision.
  7. This is a great article, every one should read it! I was going through so many emotions while reading it. First of all I have to say, I love Istanbul, it is one of the most exciting cities. The Turkish culture is also very rich and interesting. The sad fact is that the life of trans people is terrible in Turkey. They are really treated like rubbish. And then again - they are very popular among the men. (I have never been to any place in the world where men were as excited on t-girls.) This is something that I can't understand! Where does the desire turn into contepmt? And why? Bülent Ersoy - the famous Turkish transsexual singer. Look for her music in the net!
  8. Being a transsexual or gay cannot be a crime any where in the world or can it? Then again practising trans or gay sex is a crime still in many societies. And in many countries the police does what ever they want, no matter what is written in the law. If in the UAE the police has decided to persecute trans people they probably do it.
  9. Visiting Cairo for work, it has never crossed my mind. Cairo is one of my favourite cities in the world but I can't see it as an ideal destination for working. The difference to the Gulf is huge. The money made in the Gulf is big (even by the European standards), I have my doubts on Cairo. In the Gulf the clients are used to t-escorts, are they in Cairo? Being a pioneer can be hard work. Or do you suggest that the expatriates in Cairo is the clientele? And one more thing: Cairo is a third-world city. Most of the t-girls in business originate from the third world. Once they have made their way out the third world, they have no plans of returning. Cairo lacks all the luxury top girls are looking for. When it comes to Russian and Asian female prostitutes, well, they are everywhere. Even in Iran. I know as I have been mistaken for a prostitute in Iran. Or was it a mistake? ---------------- Sorry to read about Tia's horror story. It is amazing how quickly you have recovered!
  10. Simple question but still so hard to answer - or understand. I wrote a looooooooooong story about my ideas on working as an escort. But - I deleted it. You see, I don't want to lead the conversation to any direction, I don't want you to react to my ideas. I want to know your uncensored definition to an ideal TS-escort. What is the most important or second important in a TS-escort and/or her service? But something I can reveal in the opening of the topic: it makes ten years in business to me later this year. It is time to do revaluation, right?
  11. This is the fact. The transgendered are completely judged by the looks. We have to fill up the complete passability for a woman. If not, bad for you. Being the sweetest or the most intelligent, interesting or whatever person doesn't count as long as there is a trace of the original sex in your looks. If the men require 100% passability from a tgirl to be wife or a girlfriend, doesn't this prove that in the bottom end the men don't quite approve transsexuality - or their own sexuality. Men approve transsexuality as long as it is between two of you, not if it is made public. Here's the unbalance I mentioned before: transsexuals have made a long and tough path to accept themselves, become themselves, while the men who are looking for their company have not. What is it like to combine sex work and marriage? It sounds like a tough one...
  12. What makes marriage more expensive than not being married? In the western world married women have their jobs, are economically independent - at least in my country. I don't know any girl or woman who lives on his husband or boy friend. Unless they are raising small children at home. That is work as any work. In the coutries where the equality between sexes is not advanced, men get well paid for marrying a girl. For example in India upper class men are expecting appartments and cars from the family of the bride. So where's the cost of marriage for a man?
  13. What an interesting topic! I would like to hear more stories on having a relationship with a t-girl. So far in this conversation only one t-girl has told her story. Some four men told about their previous relations that ended because of the social presure they were not able to handle. One man, though, believed that he is having a long lasting relation. How many of you have really had a serious man-tgirl -relation?
  14. Well, personally I could have lived without this service; I don't know what is the excellency of this idea. Maybe it gives people thrill, fun or whatever. Anyway, this kind of ratings are the trend of the day. Judging and the looks are ever more increasing in the world we live. By the way, I noted a thing. One can judge several times a profile. One guy has given me rating three times - and every time different rating!
  15. What are these statistics? If there are statistics made it must mean that prostitutes in the Netherlands have to be tested (to get permission to work?). Is this correct? I have thought if I could ever work if I was HIV positive. Don't know but I have a feeling that I could not. What might be the influence on work if one is positive?
