is gay and transsexual free to go around in dubai or any arab countries as tourist and party everywhere hook up with guys ?

where is the gay and ts scene in dubai were we can meet up and we can party so freely?

is dressing up so sexy and provocatively is ok while going out in the streets like mini skirt, high heels, bareback tops, and everything that shows skin and sexuality?

i have a male passport when i go there dressing as a girl would they try to question me i have a long hair femenine feature but looks like what is my picture in the passport im worried the immigration counter will not let me enter to thier country and send me back to where im from

Hi Svetlana

I have taken TS girlfriends to Dubai with no problem, both from Thailand and Phillipines.

Try to dress casually like jeans and a t shirt for the airport.

Around Dubai in the streets you can wear anything you like but try to observe the modesty like wearing longer skirts or jeans or shorts, and t shirts.

At night in bars and discos, you can wear mini skirts and dress anyway you please, be as sexy as you want to be, no problems.

There are no specific gay bars, but gay men are everywhere in Dubai, both western and arab. They will like a beautiful girl like you, but also many straight men in Dubai are into ts so go ahead and have fun

Good Luck

Pampal

  • 5 weeks later...

I made a short visit to Dubai some time ago.

The legislation in the Emirates is a problem in theory. All the homosexual acts are illegal and so is the prostitution. In practise it is not as bad as it sounds. Men, both Arab and Western, are very willing to have relations with the transgendered. But - if something bad happened, the consequiences would be serious. In one bar I met a Kuwaiti guy and he was worried about the law and thus we didn't go further.

The bigger problem in Dubai is the problem of getting contact with potential clients. At the time I was in Dubai this site, and all the other sites promoting sexual services, was banned. In web cafes you can't access ts-dating. Only on "free-zones" people can access this site. Of course one can try to get clients by walking on the streets and in the clubs, but it is risky business because of these anti-homosexual/prostitution laws. I didn't see any activity on the streets but I know that in Dubai operates a big brothel.

One should also note that hotels are quite expensive and to be able to receive clients (or any male guests) one has to stay in better-off hotels.

There are all kinds of probklems for any escort girls in Dubai and the rest of the emirates, but especially for transexuals. However there are ways around this. As you note MOST advertising sites are banned there. The onply place you can access these sites is within Media City where there are No limitations. However - and sorry to promote another site here - there is sometbning called Dubai Expats online - search for it. You have to join but its free. A lot of T girls who are going to visit advertise there. No reports of any getting in trouble. I was in Dubai a few months back and this was how i found out about who was in town.

Regarding visiting hotels that IS a problem since many hotels - partiocularly nicer ones - will NOT let girls go up to see men in their rooms. Not unless they produce proof they are guests - like a passport. Some allow girls in but charge them for the privelege.

Better to get your own place. Again man y hotels will spot a steady tream of visitors going in and out so best to try and find a holiday let - flat or apartment - and the Golden Sands complex is a good bet. A lot of the oriental girls who visit rent apartments there. Otherwise a room in a very bustling hotel. I saw one girl while i was in Dubai and she had a room in a hotel which had a club on the premises. Made it noisy but there were men coming and going all night so no one spiotted her clients.

There may be several expat sites but at least expatriates.com was also closed for prostitution in February when I was in Dubai. From abroad you can publish an ad though so you better publish your ad better leaving your country.

It is also essential to make a booking well in advance especially if visiting from November to March. I came to Dubai without reservation (I was just passing through on a long journey) and found myself in a situation where all the better-off hotels were completely booked out. Arrived at night I spent an hour or so to find anything in Deira. My appologies for inconvenience to the nice gentlemen visited me!

In some of the cheaper hotels I was able to have visitors - but it turned on the staff as well. They were looming outside of my door waiting for an invitation! So I never felt comfortable to stay more than one night in a hotel if I received a client.

As a result I would say visiting Dubai for work requires good planning and some money. Golden Sands seems to charge 120 USD per room next fall. The cheapest you can get a room in Dubai is 40 USD.

I travel to Dubai occasionally for business - say two or three times a year.

I was told about the Cyclone. Supposed to be lots of activity, although I don't know specifically about transgendered and I never visited the place myself. I also heard it was closed for a while about a year ago
