Being a transsexual or gay cannot be a crime any where in the world or can it? Practising trans or gay sex is a crime in still in many societies. And in many countries the police does what ever they want, no matter what is written in the law. If in the UAE the police has decided to persecute trans people they probably do it.

Being a transsexual or gay SHOULD NOT be a crime, but unfortunately in many muslim countries is. We know about gay men sentenced to death for being gay in Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc.

It's true that in UAE is a lot of money and can be atractive to escort, but there's a high risk to have problems with the islamic laws of those countries.

I know it's lucrative, but why take that kind of risk?

With the hourly rate 5-6 times higher than the rate in most american/european cities, many people will continue to take the risk.

and escort business in dubai is huge.

most lock up stories is bull shit and made up by few TS who doesn't want competition. While one lock up story was true, that was back in 2008. And the back story of it was one TS called the police informing them of other TS and their illegal activities. So basically, some TS marked Dubai as their territory and use any mean to keep away competition.

My advice is come to Dubai but stay low profile!

A quick search at google comes up with this:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/dan-littauer..._b_1367159.html

http://www.philippinenews.com/top-of-the-n...ebook-pics.html

http://www.sara.lu/trans/notransindubai/

http://www.globalgayz.com/middle-east/unit...ubai-a-warning/

I can't say if it's high or low risk, but it seems clear that Gay-Lesbian-Bisexual-Transexual do not have any right if you ask the UAE government! mad.gif

if no one suspect you are trans and your passport say you are female, sure you can go there and meet clients, police don't have security camera installed in hotel rooms.

Otherwise been transgender is illigal in dubai and you can go to jail for it.
