Because sometimes those girls don't just have a choice. I work a regular job and I just consider myself lucky. One of the main reason is discrimination and lack of laws that protect "transsexual women" (sorry I just don't like the term shemale!!) from getting unfair treatment at the workplace. I could only talk about my experience here in the Philippines. I've been turned down by companies because of my gender. I've had issues with the female restroom here and It's really difficult working with people who are really closed minded. I am passable but the problem is a transsexual woman here would never be able to have the sex on her passport and other legal documents changed . The catholic church has a strong influence on the politics here and they are always meddling with issues about birth control, gender change and always halting the passing of the anti-discrimination bill which is totally fucked up (pardon my language but I'm utterly infuriated. lol) I have a very supportive family and I'm thankful that they accepted me for being a ts. Other girls get disowned by their relatives and get forced into escorting. Some leave their homes and stay at big houses rented by foreigners and do cam shows for a small amount of money. I don't have issues with girls who escort, I just hope they do something to get out of that situation. I wish the girls would just save money and go to college or just put up a business instead of using it for something else like LV purses lol
