I think the brutal thruth is: yes, that is, your appearance is freakish. The majority of transsexuals and transvestites (and some stereotypical gays too) aren't passable in public, for a number of obvious physiological reasons. Being with a TS or TV will make me a freak too ("OMG, is he gay, bisexual, "straight" or WTF?"), if I ever man myself up to meeting one in public. I don't think we can fight this, in our live time. Unless you look like one of the "existing" sexual categories, the majority of straight, normal people will spot you. There is simply not enough tolerance in the world, and unpleasant experiences are bound to occur. A recent example of how the "tolerant" majority may act, even in Scandinavia, is the rascist bullying of gypsies picking empty bottles at the Roskilde Festival these days. So for me, the temptation to choose a gay meeting place is strong, even though I never frequent these, to date a TS. Otherwise she has to be a good runner, like me:)
